Customer Experience & Administrative Lead

Most shops look for mechanics. We’re looking for a person. Glenforest Garage has been a Lawrence Park staple for over 65 years. We are family-owned, honest, and we are currently building a brand-new, private office specifically for this role. We don't want a “job hopper”—we want someone to join our family for the long haul. In return, we’ll treat you better than any corporate office ever could.

The Role

This is a brand-new department you will lead and shape yourself. You report directly to the owner.

  • People First: You’ll be the face of the shop—answering phones, emails, and making our customers feel like family.
  • Operations: You’ll handle the "behind-the-scenes" flow—scheduling, follow-ups, tracking shop metrics, and coordinating with the Foreman.
  • Autonomy: You’ll help create the procedures. If you see a way to make the shop better, you have the green light to do it.

The Schedule

  • Jan–Mar & June–Oct: Monday to Thursday (7am–4pm). Enjoy your 3-day weekends.
  • Apr, May, Nov, Dec: Monday to Friday (8am–4pm) to help us through the busy tire seasons.
  • Flexibility: Want extra hours? Want to answer some emails from home on a Saturday? That’s entirely up to you.

Location: 4 Glenforest Road, Toronto (Yonge & Lawrence)
Start Date: Ideally Mid-Summer 2026 (or earlier for training).
